      Sankyo Precision Spared No Efforts to Engage in Industrial Automatization

               With 30-years of development, China has become the manufacturing center that plays an important role in the world. According to statistics, the number of people engaged in manufacturing in China is close to 300 million, from textile products, shoes, toys, electric appliances to consumable electric products. “Made in China” shows a presence in every corner of the world. Recently, due to long-term low-population and low-growth, college expansion, tax and expenses reform in rural areas and Western Region Development, etc., the laborers are seriously short of demand in the costal areas. With the people born in the 1950s and 1960s being able to retire, the understaffing will be becoming a normal status, and is becoming worse and worse. After estimation, according to current production scale and labor production ratio, there will be at least a 50,000,000 laborers gap in China in future ten years. The countries in Europe and America in the 1960s, and Japan in 1970s and some emerging countries in 1980s and 1990s suffered the same problem, but there were cost bottom-lines at that time, the practice of industrial transfer was adopted by these countries upon the shortage of laborers; however, the practice of industrial transfer cannot be used in China, because: 1. there is a large population in China, and the industry has a large scale, and few countries can undertake them; 2. China has become a country with a cost bottom-line, and it is difficult to find a manufacturing country with lower comprehensive costs; and 3. the talent advantage in the manufacturing industry in China is very obvious, and it is hard to rapidly foster a large batch of manufacturing talents for other countries. Therefore, the manufacturing industry has no back way in China, we just maintain our global competitiveness by upgrading our manufacturing modes. In consideration of such situation, based on existing mould factories and precision components development centers, we established the Industrial Automatization Career Department in 2011, and developed a precision, flexible, and complete equipment based system , in order to make contributions to the upgrading of the manufacturing industry in China.

              The industrial automation philosophy of precision, flexibility and complete system as raised by the Company is to conduct the precision positioning of targeted processing parts of different specifications by using the adjustable precision moulds or precision governance tools, and when necessary, using the robots under control of a vision identification system and other sensors, and to put them into the CNC for processing and assembly, and to systematically integrate such manufacturing units through piece-end stream lines, in order to achieve fully-automatic production.

             Our industrial automation features the following:
      (1) Precision: precision manufacturing is the foundation for product quality. Our industrial automation equipment will reflect our ten-year accumulated precision manufacturing technology elements in all aspects, including the precision positioning system of the targeted processing parts, precision manufacturing of processing equipment, and precision configuration of basic components, etc., thus making the automation equipment have higher reliability and longer service life and ensuring stable quality of the targeted processing parts.

      (2) Flexibility: as for the replacement of the work to be done by people by equipment, the biggest problem is that the equipment cannot reach the flexibility of people. Therefore, traditional rigid industrial automation equipment often procedures single products, and there are very rigorous requirements for the targeted processing parts in respect to precision. Our Company will apply robots with “sight” and “thinking” in the industrial automation equipment to a large extent, and change the traditional equipment that relies on rigid geometrical positioning into visual analysis, and control the robots to conduct flexible positioning of the equipment, and change the traditional processing equipment that relies on rigid organizational moving to computer aided controlled flexible processing equipment, and change traditional stream line that rely on rigid transformation to a flexible stream line that can be freely joined and controlled by adjustable systems. Through such flexible design, our equipment is capable of producing products with different specs and models.

      (3) Complete System: the purpose of the industrial automation is to retrench and enhance the efficiency and improve the quality; however, traditional half-automation equipment or assembly governance tools can just be called effort-saving equipment, and basically realize the purpose of retrenchment and improvement of efficiency. Even for the fully-automatic equipment, if the manual installation is used in each processing unit, in consideration of the coordination of manual installation, the output may just be up to 80% of the equipment design capability, and work-related injury accidents often happen for manual installation in the case of fully-automatic equipment application; therefore, the automatic processing units are systematically integrated, to make them into completely fully-automatic equipment, thus excellent results will be realized in respect of retrenchment, improvement of efficiency, reduction of accidents and quality warranty, etc. As for the industrial automation equipment, we take systematic integration as the preferred target.

      (4) Labor Intensive Industry: after 30-years of hard work, we established strong competitiveness in the labor intensive industry, and the labor intensive products often have a large market and have longer duration, and there are a number of factories, and therefore, these factories are facing many problems and have difficulty surviving, and they have a strong wish to upgrade and reform their automation. This will provide enormous market space for our industrial automation equipment.

               The Industrial Automation Career Department under Mr. Wang Wei (Chairman), acting as the director of this department, after one-year planning, has become mature in respect of talent introduction, infrastructures, market research and development, etc., and has completed development, manufacturing and commissioning of several fully-automatic complete equipment systems, which will be introduced to the market soon. The orders that the clients formally placed or intend to place have been arranged until the end of 2013. To satisfy the rapidly growing market demands, the Company has formally applied to the development zone for the land to expand the head office site, and this is greatly supported by the leaders in the development zone. The objectives of the Industrial Automation Career Department are to develop various kinds of precision, flexibility, and a complete system based on automatic equipment to replace about 150,000 laborers in the selected targeted industries within the next 10 years, and to satisfy the demands of the clients to the industrial automation during different stages, and to provide relevant professional training and application experience, and to make contributions to the transformation and upgrading from labor intensive manufacturing industry to high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
